In light of recent events related to vaporization health concerns, we want to take a few moments to reassure you that our products, specifically, our Ripper vaporizer cartridges are not involved in any CDC warning, events, or investigation.

All Ripper formulations contain only distilled cannabis oil and food-grade terpenes derived from all-natural cannabis plant material.

Our cartridges do not contain Vitamin E Acetate, Propylene Glycol, Vegetable Glycerin, Polyethylene Glycol, or any other potentially harmful thinning agents.

Nexus 2.0 is a patented formulation created specifically for cannabis vape products. Nexus 2.0 improves upon commonly used diluents for cannabis vapor applications by extending stability, enhancing performance, and improving inhalation safety. This formulation utilizes phytol, a terpene found naturally in cannabis, along with other terpenes and components also found in cannabis, delivering a fully Native end-product.

We care about your health. We highly encourage all of our valued customers to Only purchase California licensed products regulated by the Bureau of Cannabis Control from a California State licensed dispensary.

Every BCC licensed dispensary is required to publically display their license and provide a Certificate of Analysis for every product they carry upon request. Just because you are in a dispensary doesn’t mean that it is a legal establishment.

When in doubt, ask to see the test results. No test results, no sale.

Protect yourself, be safe out there.

A few words from Jeffrey C. Raber, Ph.D. CEO & CVO of The WERC Shop, makers of Nexus 2.0

“With the recent revelation from the U.S. Food and Drug Association (FDA) regarding the correlation between vitamin E acetate [CAS: 7695-91-2] and “vape illness” we wanted to reassure everyone that The Werc Shop (TWS) has never used vitamin E acetate in any of our products. Period.

We had recently included a small quantity of natural tocopherols (no acetate analogues present) in a test Nexus formulation. It was included at 0.2% by weight as a stability enhancing agent and because it is found naturally in cannabis. This approach to ingredient safety, using only ingredients found in and on cannabis, is a hallmark of the TWS Native® concept.

In contrast, vitamin E acetate is not naturally found in cannabis. Despite the similar sounding names, the effects of the two differ like lighting does from a lightning bug. Unfortunately, when actors possessing limited chemical and toxicological understanding begin making prognostications about what is safe to inhale, bad things can happen. That is one reason we continue to caution others to know your source: TWS wields scientific and regulatory expertise that many others can only pretend to.

Even though there is not any reason to believe that inhaling a very small quantity of natural tocopherols presents a hazard, we will not include it in any future versions of Nexus formulations out of an abundance of caution. The potential public confusion with names relating to vitamin E is also not lost on us. You can reassure all of your retailers that carry your products that there is no reason for concern.

Our original Nexus formulation consisted of only phytol—a diterpene found in cannabis. Our Nexus 2.0 formulation remains predominantly phytol plus other compounds found in cannabis including beta- caryophyllene, limonene, nerolidol, and farnesol.

TWS continues to work with the cannabis community and public health officials to better understand vape illness and all of the potential factors involved. TWS has been supplying formulations for inhalation for more than 5 years with no reports of adverse events. Our in-depth molecular understanding about these products and our operating history has uniquely positioned us to help public officials and the scientific community to forge sensible and evidence-based regulations for cannabis vapor products.
